Combining style and supreme functionality into its most advanced SUV yet, Mitsubishi offers the ultimate family car in the shape of the Outlander.
Physically imposing and boldly styled, the Mitsubishi Outlander has a confident presence on the road. There are three trim levels to choose from, from Outlander 2 to Outlander 4 plus a commercial variant the Outlander Commercial. The entry-level model offers practical features including LED daytime running lights, automatic headlights and windscreen wipers. Higher grade variants offer enhanced design details such as 18-inch alloy wheels and privacy glass.
The Outlander offers space for up to seven occupants in all models except the entry-level Outlander 2 trim. The seats fold with a simple one-touch mechanism to make it easy to access the rearmost seats or lay the seats flat to create a large luggage space. With all seats in place the boot space is 591 litres.
The soft-touch materials used across the range give the Outlander a premium feel and all models feature air conditioning and an MP3-compatible stereo. Opt for the Outlannder 4 model to enjoy a heated steering wheel, Blind Spot Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
The Outlander is powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine. The on-road performance is smooth and dependable, with a 0-60mph time of less than ten seconds. The selectable four-wheel drive system delivers sufficient traction and grip for venturing off-road too. This large SUV is impressively economical, returning up to 53.3mpg and emitting just 130g/km of CO2.
The Outlander has a strong body made from high-tensile steel, along with multiple airbags. Mitsubishi has equipped it with active stability and traction control as standard along with hill start assist on all models. Higher grade models also feature advanced safety systems such as Adaptive Cruise Control and a Forward Collision Mitigation System.
